Opel Kadett GT/E on the MB-01, a 1/10 scale R/C kit. The Kadett GT/E arrived in 1975 as the high-spec Kadett, a hugely popular car in 1970s Europe. It came as a 2-door coupe with a 1.9 liter engine and reinforced suspension. Opel's works rally team, satellite teams and privateers ran modified versions, and in 1976 the car took second in the manufacturer's global rally championship. The MB-01 is a compact 2WD with three wheelbase choices and front- or rear-wheel drive. You can switch drive direction without pulling the battery, motor or radio gear, just by changing how the final gears and steering linkage attach. Rear-wheel drive cars can run a low or high motor position. This kit uses the long wheelbase and midship rear motor layout to match the real car. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension is symmetrical.
