BBX, a 1/10 R/C 2WD off-road buggy from the Tamiya BB-01 platform. Tamiya looked back through its catalog of classic 2WD buggies and built the BBX as a mix of old-school design and modern performance. The chassis is a hybrid monocoque with a roll cage, borrowing the look of 1980s sand rail dune buggies, and it uses rear trailing arm suspension like full-size UTVs. The body is by famed Japanese artist Atsushi Arino and wears a retro 1980s livery with matching wheels and tires. It includes a driver figure, light cases and a 5th spare tire mount adapter. The spare tire is sold separately.

• 0.7mm polycarbonate body split into three sections to recreate the tapered lower shape of a real dune buggy.
• Battery compartment fits a square LiPo 2S.
