Traxxas' Sledge body mount swings forward more than an inch (25mm), which makes bumpers a real challenge. RPM figured out a way to run a working front bumper anyway. The stock bumper goes, replaced by a hinge pin retainer, since that's really all the stock bumper did. The stock skid plate goes too, swapped for a wider, longer and tougher one. RPM then bolts a new bumper to the front of that skid. Because it sits below the body, the body mount keeps its full range of motion, and the Sledge finally gets real front end protection. Molded in black from RPM's engineering-grade nylon for strength and durability. Made in the USA and backed by a limited lifetime warranty against breakage. Fits: Traxxas 1:8 Sledge.
