The ball diff is still the most common way to move power from the gearbox to the driveshafts, and it takes a lot of abuse on the dirt. RM2 clear diff lube is for racers who want to tame the power and keep the drive and acceleration they need. On a fresh build or rebuild, put clear lube in the main gear diff-ball holes, install the diff balls (not included), then cover the area with another layer. Use a generous amount to fill the voids. After full assembly, follow the diff manual for setup. Install the diff and run a 20-30 second break-in in the pit, holding the car and alternating left and right tires while powering it at slow speed.
