Machined steel 48P transfer case gears that drop mass out of your VFD transmission. The narrower profile trims weight from inside the box. Metal bearing plates support the gear set even better. This gives you a 21% overdrive. Overdrive here means the percentage difference between the gear ratio at the front wheels and the ratio at the rear wheels. It also helps with steering. Weight: 36.4g (including front output shaft) Stock PM weight: 50.6g (not including front output shaft)
