About this part
Tamiya's 1:350 USS Missouri (BB-63) is the third Iowa-class battleship, commissioned in 1944. She hit Kyushu and Okinawa during the Pacific War and shelled Muroran in Hokkaido. Japan's surrender documents were signed on her deck on September 3, 1945. Mothballed after the Korean War, she was refitted and rejoined the Navy in 1986. In the Gulf War, she and sister ship Wisconsin fired the first combat Tomahawk cruise missiles. The kit shows her as she looked in 1991, with parts tooled to update it. Paint and assembly required.
