America's first tank destroyer. The M10 sat on a Sherman hull with an open-topped turret carrying a 3-inch (76.2mm) cannon that could punch through 8.8cm of armor at 1000m. It needed mobility, so it ran thin armor, but bolts on the turret and hull let crews add auxiliary armor fast. It saw its first fight against the Germans in Tunisia in 1943, then served in Italy, Western Europe and the Pacific. The plastic kit nails the angled hull armor and wedge-shaped turret. The open turret shows the 76.2mm cannon's loader and combat compartment, all detailed. Press-type and perforated road wheels plus idler wheels included. Vehicle equipment and the heavy-caliber M2 machine gun are separate parts. Comes with US-style Jerry cans and 3 marking types. Fits general hobby plastic models.
