RPM's front bumper and skid plate for the Losi Baja Rey is a follow-up to our original Baja Rey front bumper (RPM #73742). This version is designed to work with the Losi Ford Raptor body, and it keeps all the key design features of the original. The biggest change is the skid plate. It now sits below the aluminum chassis plate instead of between the chassis plate and differential. That puts real RPM skid protection on the chassis plate, where there was none before. It also lets us build a flex zone into the skid plate that soaks up impacts and saves you from expensive repairs. The bumper gets its own flex zone. It compresses under extreme hits and springs back to shape afterward. That protects the front differential and chassis plate, because the bumper takes the impact instead of passing it into the chassis. It's also thicker than stock, so it can take more punishment.
