RPM's front skid plate for the Traxxas Maxx fixes the weak spot on the stock one. Hard hits and grinding can chew up the exposed mounting screws, and that means damaged bulkheads and a repair bill. RPM redesigned the skid rib layout so the screws are isolated and protected. The skid ribs take the punishment instead, and they're built to last. It also adds a third skid rib where stock has two. That means more abrasion resistance, more strength and a longer life when you're launching big air or grinding over rough ground. Pair it with RPM's Rear Skid Plate (#72222) for full Maxx underbody protection.
