About this part
Skill level 4, ages 12 and up. This 1:24 scale 1964 Pontiac GTO has 104 parts and measures 8.4375 in long, 3.11 in wide, and 2.52 in tall. Build it factory-stock or as a street machine. The 389-cube V-8 can run Tri-Power carbs or an optional blower with dual four-barrels. The interior has front bucket seats and a molded four-on-the-floor shifter. The GTO took Pontiac's 389 V-8 and put it in the lightest car, the redesigned 64 Tempest LeMans. Stock features include triple two-barrel Tri-Power carbs, a four-speed manual, and dual exhaust.
