About this part
The #158 is the scale-sized Whisker coupler, with a smaller head and knuckle for a more prototypical look. It's the Whisker version of the #58, and it lasts longer and runs more reliably. No centering springs to fight and no multi-piece assemblies. It's a true drop-in, and it's made right here in the USA. The #158 swaps in for the No.5, #28, #58, #118, #119, #148 and most manufacturers' Medium Centerset OEM knuckle couplers. For a #38 equivalent, run it in a #252 gearbox. It supersedes product #150.
You will receive
- 25 pair #158 'Scale' Whisker metal couplers, medium centerset shank
- 10 spare #625 knuckle springs
- Gearboxes not included
- Don't mount metal couplers straight onto metal surfaces or into a metal draft gear box. Metal couplers can short out and cause damage.
