About this part
The #147 whisker coupler is the Kadee answer to the old #27. It's a true drop-in with no centering springs and no multi-piece hassle. Made right here in the USA. The #147 swaps in for the #27 and most manufacturers' Medium Underset OEM knuckle couplers. For a #37 equivalent, run it in a #252 gearbox.
You will receive
- Two pair #147 Whisker metal couplers, medium underset shank
- Two pair #242 snap-together gearboxes and lids
- Two spare #622 knuckle springs
- Don't mount metal couplers straight onto metal surfaces or into a metal draft gearbox. That can cause shorting and damage. Use the provided insulated gearbox or an insulated #27 coupler.
