About this part
Kadee's Whisker series is the next step past the legendary No.5. You get the same drop-in ease with no centering springs to fuss with and no multi-piece assemblies to fight. Made right here in the USA. The #143 swaps in for the #23 and most manufacturers' Short Centerset OEM knuckle couplers. For a #33 equivalent, run the #143 in a #252 gearbox.
You will receive
- Two pair #143 Whisker metal couplers, short centerset shank
- Two pair #242 snap-together gearboxes and lids
- Two spare #622 knuckle springs
- Don't mount metal couplers straight onto metal surfaces or into a metal draft gear box. That can cause shorting and damage. Use the provided insulated gearbox or an insulated #23 coupler.
