The 1968 Firebird, dubbed "The Machine," has been a hit on and off the track. JConcepts drivers built it, ran it, and tuned it all across the United States, so this one has been beaten on by people who race. Low to the ground, with a super low Firebird V-nose, built-in front splitter, and crowned hood. The long silhouette spreads downforce evenly front to rear so the body bites where you need it. The rear overhang and built-in rear side-dams help you hook up and launch straight. The low roofline keeps it settled at speed, and the laid-down windshield cuts air like a fighter jet. Recessed side windows still give enough view for a Pro Mod. The heavy front rake holds tight on the big end of the track. There's just enough clearance to clear most front suspension parts, so it hangs low and looks mean. A slight hood scoop runs down the centerline over the crowned hood.
