JConcepts is back with a follow-up to its touring car bodies. The A2R is ROAR approved and ready for production. It's built with key changes for race starts. The shrunken front end is laid back, with a shorter nose that puts force over the front tires. A-pillar rails extend over the hood to deflect air over the nose and reinforce the front wheel well. The windshield is tucked inside the rails and connects to an aggressive roofline. A hard edge sits behind the front wheel well and ahead of the rear, which strengthens the openings and improves race posture. Another hard edge along the rocker panel adds front-to-rear rigidity. The trunk has plenty of deck overhang, which controls downforce and gives the rear wing its spot. A small built-in kick-up at the tail helps keep the car stable at high speed.
