The HS-488HB is the 25-tooth version of the HS-485HB and an upgrade on the HS-475HB, with more torque and more speed. It has a top ball bearing, heavy duty high impact Karbonite gears and high performance circuitry for lots of torque, with excellent centering and resolution. APPLICATIONS: Helis and aircraft up to 72 in, or up to 12 lbs with one servo per control surface.

Note

• High vibration gas engines (not glow) with large control surfaces and big throws, like 3D models, can strain the gears. Use metal geared servos for those, even under 12 lbs.
• WARNING:
• Do not use thread lockers on a Karbonite geared servo. It will cause the output shaft to fail.
