A purple body post trimmer for smooth, chamfered posts. Fit the body to the car and set its height first, then take it off. You won't need it for trimming. HOW IT WORKS: Set the trimmer on the first post. Pick the 6mm or 10mm cut by how you orient the tool. Turn the knurled screw counter-clockwise until it lifts out, slide in a cutter knife or scalpel, then turn it clockwise until the blade hits the block at the end of the slot. Lift off the cut top with the trimmer, then repeat on the other posts. FINISHING CUT: Set the stud hole over the post and turn the trimmer about 360 degrees under light pressure for a clean 1mm chamfer. If the chamfer falls short, adjust the blade gap to 0.2-0.5mm from the aluminum body edge. RESULT: Smooth, chamfered body posts.
