A 1:160 scale tuna seiner, measuring 5.5 inches long. It's a nice detailed kit designed for general use on N-scale layouts or waterfront dioramas. It is not tied to a specific boat history. Tuna seiners are commercial fishing vessels that use large purse seine nets to encircle schooling tuna near the surface. They work worldwide with helicopters, speedboats and brine freezing to preserve catches. These boats range from 65 to 320 feet long, and they face sustainability scrutiny over bycatch such as dolphins and sharks. Fits: general hobby universal fit car parts
