This R/C assembly kit recreates the Peugeot 306 Maxi on the beginner-friendly, highly customizable BT-01 chassis. Like the real car, the BT-01 is set up in front-motor, front-drive layout for realism. The Peugeot 306 Maxi started from the FF hatchback 306 and got rally-specific parts. Its 2.0-liter naturally aspirated front engine made 280hp, with enlarged fenders, a roof spoiler and a lightened body. It won the 1996 and 1997 rally races in France, took the class championship at the 1996 Monte Carlo rally, and finished third in races 5 and 6 of the 1997 global rally circuit. This kit pays tribute to those rally champions. BT-01 CHASSIS 2WD chassis with two wheelbase options and front- or rear-wheel drive. Change the final gear and steering linkage attachment directions to switch drive type without removing the battery, motor or R/C gear from the center frame.
