The iconic Porsche 911 RSR 2.8 gets the BT-01 chassis. The kit tells you to build it short wheelbase, midship rear motor, rear-wheel drive (MR). That keeps the full-size car's drivetrain layout, with rear-drive handling and snappy throttle response in every turn. The Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is a 911 legend. Built for European GT racing in 1973, it had a 2,687cc horizontally opposed 6-cylinder making 210hp, a light body with better aero and wide rear tires. The Carrera RSR 2.8 raised displacement to 2,808cc and output past 300hp. In 1973 it won the European GT race championship and took numerous global victories. BT-01 CHASSIS 2WD chassis with two wheelbase options and front- or rear-wheel drive. Change the final gear and steering linkage attachment directions to switch drive type without removing the battery, motor or R/C gear from the center frame.
