Tamiya's Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR is back, this time on the TC-01. It first hit the 1998 catalog on the TA-03R platform, then the easy-build TT-01E. Now it rides the chassis built for the most performance yet, with that sleek Merc profile and a very low center of gravity. TC-01: SERIOUSLY LOW-PROFILE Durable composite monocoque frame. Shaft-driven 4WD from a central motor through front and rear propeller shafts, with oil-filled gear differentials. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long arms. Inboard setups front and rear use oil shock dampers driven by push rods and rocker arms, so low-profile bodies fit. Adjust spacer width to change camber, skid and toe. Suspension arms and uprights are identical left, right, front and rear for quicker pit work.
