These skid rails bolt onto almost any scale car or truck body. The surface needs to be featureless, flat or curved, with at least 3 inches (76.2mm) of open area. The segmented design bends around curves, so your body keeps its contours after install. The big perk is that no screws poke out of the body. RPM built 1/4-inch (6.35mm) bosses that sit below the surface and hold the screws. The threads stay below the surface, so you can wear the rails almost paper thin before replacing them. Molded from tough engineering-grade nylon. Sold in pairs. You need at least 1/2 inch (12.7mm) of clearance under the body where the rails mount.
