Balsa is the go-to wood for airplanes, boats, crafts, model railroad and miniatures. It slices clean with a hobby knife and takes stain or paint to pass for other woods. It's kiln dried to pull out the moisture, leaving a light sheet with serious strength for the weight. Micro-Cut means thickness tolerance of .002, a five-step inspection and top-grade raw stock.
