The Silent Rage is JConcepts thinking outside the box with an asymmetrical tire concept. It was first developed for an IFMAR World Championships event at Hobby Action Raceway in Chandler, Arizona. The team felt the open front tire could give them an edge, so they built it with two different sidewall heights. Depending on conditions, you can change which direction it runs for an advantage. The indoor circuit did not mature as fast as expected, so the new tires stayed in the pits. The team did not stop there. They built a rear tire using the same concept. Over several seasons the tire has been tested at tracks across the country, with strong results on off-road and dirt oval. The tire body is ideal for high-bite surfaces. Run the low-profile sidewall inside or outside depending on conditions, or stagger them for dirt oval or banked tracks. Sold as a single front tire, 2.2 2WD, silver compound.
