Tire, Megalithic Green Compound Performance 1.9 Scaler, 4.75in - JConcepts

About this part

Megalithic in green compound, 1.9 scaler tire at 4.75 inch OD. It follows successful designs like the Landmines, Scorpios and Tusk. It's built to the popular 4.75" outside diameter competition size and is the most detailed JConcepts tire ever made. When the R&D team sat down to brainstorm for the company's 20th anniversary, they decided on an intricate crawling tire. The lug layout, terracing and recessing give it footing that can flex to just about any terrain. The big "bat lug" center can pull either direction and can be tested with the lugs pointed forward or with a stepping forward motion. Next to the center, "club lugs" with recessed areas define the outside of the tread. The "sharks' mouth" ties the center structure together, and the Megalithic pyramid drops into the center for surface area at different angles. The sidewalls have heavy traction bar placement, with removed sections that add pitch and flex grip. "Pencil push" plots carve and shave each rotation. A "liquid rope" fin finishes the look.
