Firestorm Runner monster truck tire, medium, in gold compound. Over the years the kings of the business tested tires as hard as off-road racers did. Keeping the spirit of traditional monster truck racing while coming up with new options takes real creativity. The Runner from JConcepts is a concept tire with shaved and lowered tread, giving the smoothest driving surface of any JConcepts monster truck tire. Scale monster truck tires used to get sliced by hand, which could eat up to 40 hours per tire. The Runner has a fully lowered lug for a low-profile stance that's a hit on the racing scene. Each lug has a front and rear edge, so it digs both directions without throwing too much free dirt. Upper sidewall corners are radiused and chamfered to strip overhung tread, which keeps the design light enough to carry through high-traction turns. The wide body carcass matches other JConcepts tires like the Racer, Renegades, Launch and Knobs, so you can mix and match. FITS: Tamiya Vintage 58065 Clod Buster Tamiya Vintage 58089 Bullhead
