Landmines in green compound, built for the SCX6. Years of testing, tuning and analysis went into these, and they're now open to the crawling crowd. The carcass is robust, shaped and sized for a lot of conditions, and it finishes tough courses while still looking to scale. Solid and cavity pads alternate, so the tire moves from smooth dirt or pavement into dirt, mud and rocky ground. Toward the edges, horizontal grippy pads with edges and channels add forward climbing bite. Once power is applied, the tread spacing opens for deep digging, which makes it a strong working tire in dirt and mud. As the tread rolls down the sidewall, a new course of tread and side lugs takes over. A grippy radial ring holds a consistent contact patch when pinched, and new traction bars alternate between angular and island mapping for squeeze grip. The green compound flexes and pairs with the lug layout for a grippy feel. FITS: Axial SCX6
