JConcepts is building Bigfoot-style bodies for popular RC rigs, and this 1985 Ford Aerostar Shuttle is a Clod Buster body for the JConcepts Regulator and Tamiya Clod Buster. The Clod Buster needs user-adapted body mounts. The clear one-piece body keeps the Aerostar's signature features: a low-slope hood and windshield, a high roofline that runs the length of the shell, and a drop just behind the rear wheel wells for the hatch and rear window. The side is flat and built for hauling the family, with recessed windows made up of five panes and body lines that carry the 1980s look in every direction. The wheel wells have a built-in flare for rigidity, and the front and rear bumpers are carved into the design. The decal sheet includes multiple license plate designs. The angled front end means the body mounting needs special planning.
