The Mini-King is not a Venture 18 with a monster shell. It's a new machine built to capture the personality of the full-size Big Kahuna monster truck in 1:18 scale. Almost every part of the Venture18 platform was replaced to make real mini-monster performance. A tough TVP composite chassis, twin oil-filled shocks at all four corners and massive axle housings with three-gear differentials make it a compact powerhouse. A single-speed transmission drives counter-rotating CVD steel center shafts, and heavy-duty lower links and the officially licensed Big Kahuna body finish the transformation. It runs exclusively on Flux brushless power, and HPI is confident its speed, torque and control will blow you away. The fully licensed Ford Bronco 4400 bodyshell is an RC replica of the real Big Kahuna truck, run by Shane England with help from RTR Vehicles and Vaughn Gittin Jr. Motorsports.
