The RF-51N is HPI's latest receiver for nitro and gas trucks. It's the one that works with TF-51 series transmitters and lets you bind and drive. It has the signal failsafe from the RF-51 plus a low-voltage failsafe, which nitro and gas rigs need. If the radio link drops or the onboard battery gets too low, the throttle channel snaps to its failsafe position. You can set that to full brake. It's 35x26mm, 17mm high and only 13 grams, so it won't mess with your balance. The silicone jacket inside the hard case makes it waterproof for mud, rain and snow.
