Ignitor, Remote Safety - DU-BRO

About this part

Remote safety ignitor for in-cowl engines, so you can light it without fighting the prop or a glow plug buried in a tight spot. DU-BRO built it with an external glow driver socket wired straight to the glow plug and grounded to one engine head bolt.

Features

• Works on any single-cylinder engine
• For cars, helicopters, planes or boats where the glow plug is hard to reach or sits close to the prop
• Dust cover pins on and rotates left or right, opening so the glow driver slides into the recessed socket
• Black plastic ignitor socket

• 1 pre-assembled remote safety ignitor with attached dust cover
• REQUIRES:
• Cutting a hole to mount the external socket
• Cementing the housing in the hole with CA or epoxy

Comments

• Standard remote safety ignitors have a glow plug wire with a loop and another wire crossing through it (looks like @).
• Recessed-plug ignitors have two wires in an opposing V shape (looks like ><).
