About this part
The Sonic 540.DR 4.0 is a drag motor that shares its outer shell with the 540-M4 but not its insides. The new stator uses an updated profile, thicker laminations and a unique material for drag racing duty. Expect ample torque off the line and heavy pull through the pass, which improves ET and consistency. A balanced, high-strength 13.5mm rotor sits between precision ball bearings to keep the power coming pass after pass. More optional rotors are coming for tuning to track surface and conditions. Built on the latest Reedy brushless tech and the engineering behind 30 World Championship titles.
