About this part
The Sonic 540.DR 2.5 is a drag racing motor built on the 540-M4 body. Same look outside, very different guts. The stator is new: updated profile, thicker laminations and a unique material made for drag racing. Strong launch torque and a heavy pull through the pass mean better ET and more consistency. A balanced, high-strength 13.5mm rotor rides on precision ball bearings for power pass after pass. More optional rotors are coming soon for different track surfaces and conditions. It carries the same latest brushless tech and the engineering experience behind 30 World Championship titles.
